Jobmate started with a simple observation: the best tradies in Australia were running their businesses on a patchwork of disconnected tools. One app for job management. Another for invoicing. A separate answering service. A website they built on Wix five years ago and never updated. An Excel spreadsheet for timesheets. And a whiteboard in the workshop that nobody could read.
They were spending more time on admin than on the tools — and losing thousands of dollars a year to missed calls, slow quotes, and invisible online presence. The software that existed was either too basic (a glorified to-do list) or too complex (enterprise systems built for project managers, not plumbers).
We set out to build the platform we wished existed: one app that handles everything a trade business needs — from winning the work to getting paid for it. An AI phone receptionist that never misses a call. A website that actually ranks on Google. Job management that works from your phone on-site. Invoicing that syncs to Xero automatically. And all of it built specifically for the way Australian tradies work.
